Dr Chris Ford BChD (Leeds) MFDS rcs (Eng) MB BCh BOA BA (Dublin) qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 1995 and has been practising in the UK, Australia and Ireland for the past 20 years working in hospital, community and general practice posts.
After qualifying from Leeds University he completed UK vocational training and was awarded Membership of the Dental Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2004. He studied Medicine at Trinity College Dublin obtaining his degree in 2008.
Chris has extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry and has recently completed a postgraduate qualification in Dental sedation and pain management. In Australia he taught final year dental students from the University of Queensland and worked in a clinic treating patients with special needs. He is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.
In 1999 she took up a position as a senior house officer in The maxillo- facial department of The Leeds general infirmary where she developed her knowledge and skills in minor oral surgery and received her MFD diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons Dublin in 2001. She returned to Ireland and has continued her professional career in private practice along with carrying out minor oral surgery for the HSE. She attended a part time course in the Eastman Dental Institute and obtained a certificate in restorative dentistry in 2011. She is a member of the Irish Dental Association and has a keen interest in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. In her spare time Dr O'Mahony is a keen sports person. She is a member of the Westwood tennis team and loves hiking, skiing and recently has taken up golf.

Siobhan is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienists Association and held the office of President for three years from 1995-1997. Her primary concern is for her patients' welfare and has continued her professional development in all aspects of dental hygiene. This enables her to assess a patient's condition in order to offer patient-specific preventative methods to promote and maintain good oral health.
Siobhan is a keen sportswoman. She played National League Basketball for Meteors Basketball Club winning many National and Regional titles. She is a member of Newlands Golf Club and is the incoming Captain in 2017. She is also a keen gardener and enjoys landscaping and garden design and producing her own organic vegetables.
