COLIPI

We produce oils and proteins from industrial side streams. We create them through natural fermentation putting wild type yeast cells to work... Applying single cell microbial production processes, we create value at zero land use (no deforestation) and zero carbon footprint. Yeast oils are superior to both fossil and vegetable alternatives... We are grateful for the non-dilutive governmental grant EXIST Transfer of Research Programme (EXIST) that is provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and European Social Fund for Germany (ESF). We are thankful for the support by Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) which provides office and laboratory space.
