She has worked in different Ghanaian hospitals, including the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, La General Hospital and the Regional Hospital, Koforidua, as well as in hospitals in the United Kingdom. Her experience with paediatric care in urban, rural and international settings gives her a unique ability to understand the health needs of children from all kinds of social and economic backgrounds. Her natural love of children and her warm personality make it certain that she will do almost anything within her ability to ensure that every child she meets is well and safe.

A Consultant Paediatrician and Public Health Specialist with 2 decades plus experience in service. A Fellow of both the West African College of Physicians and the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. Actively involved in the training and examination of Paediatrician in Ghana and the West African subregion. She is also a Public Health M&E expert in the subregion. Her rich experience in Paediatrics and Public health enables her to ensure all medical services address the needs of clients. Her love and passion for the wellbeing of children is infectious.

Dr Amegan-Aho is a highly dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Haemato-oncologist with over a decade of experience in the specialized care of patients with sickle cell disease. He is very fluent in both English and French languages and he empowers parents with the knowledge and confidence to actively participate in their children's healthcare journeys. Dr. Amegan-Aho has particular research interest in Paediatric Haematology and Oncology research. He is a member of the Sub-Committee on Neonatal Jaundice, Paediatric Society of Ghana.
She is a primary healthcare advocate with a passion for children's development and health. A specialist Family Physician in charge of promoting adolescent health at COY.
