HUMPHRIES LAW - Key Persons

Michael J. Humphries, a Jacksonville native, is the founding attorney of Humphries Law PLLC. Michael is a zealous advocate who strives to ensure a fair recovery while providing personal service and compassion to his clients. Since opening Humphries Law, Michael has been named as Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, and Attorney of the Month by Attorney at Law Magazine. Prior to forming Humphries Law, Michael honed his trial skills while working for a large regional insurance defense firm and a local boutique litigation firm, defending personal injury and products liability claims. Michael has tried jury trials in Duval County, Nassau County, and St. Johns County. Michael now uses the knowledge he gained to effectively represent those injured by another's negligence. Since he began representing individuals, Michael has recovered millions for his clients. Michael received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Florida. After completing his undergraduate studies, Michael attended Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he served as student prosecutor in the Botetourt County Commonwealth's Attorney Office. In his spare time, Michael enjoys the many benefits of living in Jacksonville; fishing, golfing, and spending time outdoors as often as possible.
