Our mission is to provide clear insights from science to develop Sustainable Forest Management practices that enhance carbon sequestration while protecting biodiversity, ensuring the supply of sustainable forest products and providing other ecosystem services under future climate change scenarios. We pair up technological tools such as satellite imagery, data mining, and climate and ecosystem modelling with participatory approaches to bridge the gap between stakeholders working in the field, science, policy, carbon markets and society in general. INFORMA is funded by the European Commission's Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme... INFORMA's partner organisations range from the academic and research fields to the private sector and international organisations.
