GAME - Key Persons

James Shiflet

James is a high school student but already an accomplished programmer, having worked on both Eyes of the Night and Story. School comes first (and the soccer/baseball teams), but James is a great coder and is the source of some of the best ideas that we have in our games. But more than contributing longs chunks of code, James helps when Tom calls him in and asks for help finding weird bugs. Usually, James points out the bug in the code within seconds. And then he mocks his dad. As he should.

Tom Shiflet

Tom fills many roles at Lama glama, including (but definitely not limited to): business manager, lead programmer, producer, sound designer, coffee getting intern and official llama clip art hoarder. Tom decided to found Lama glama because he loves creating unique games and doesn't like to wear shoes to work. And now that he is his own boss, he sometimes gets to go fishing on Fridays. Sometimes. But not nearly enough. Outside of writing outrageously innovative code, Tom enjoys flyfishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, and pretty much anything outdoors. He also plays way too many games, mostly on PC but sometimes on consoles. Some all time favorites (and influences) are: The Elder Scrolls series, World of Warcraft, Ark, and Microsoft Flight Simulator (he'll get his pilot's license some day…). Additionally, Tom has worked all over the world, serving refugee children, orphans and kids living in desperate poverty. He has travelled to Iraq (many times), Thailand, Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Senegal, Guatemala, El Salvador, and many other places and worked with some of the most amazing people on the planet.
