Anne Malone - Chairman

Anne Malone is a Guide dog wrangler, bias-defiant writer, speaker, and creator who envisions and advocates freedom from disability for people who are blind or visually impaired. Malone's writing plumbs the depths of history, the classical arts, and popular culture to reveal the origins of deeply buried cultural beliefs about the abilities and characteristics of people who are blind, and the catastrophic consequences these misbeliefs have on blind/VI people around the world. In partnership with her guide dog Cheryl, Anne opens the eyes of the sighted to the complexities of living with blindness in a visual world.

Catherine Dempsey

​Catherine Dempsey is originally from British Columbia but has been in Newfoundland and peripherally involved in the arts scene in the province since 1982. An avid theatre goer, Catherine has enjoyed the creativity and originality of the many productions created here, and appreciates the wide variety offered for our enjoyment. Catherine was Executive Director of the not for profit HIstoric Sites Association of Newfoundland and Labrador for over 20 years, working with crafts people and the history of the province. History, culture and the arts all combine to make Newfoundland the very best place to live, and she is proud to volunteer with Power Productions to make all of this more accessible.

Josh Menchions

Josh Menchions is the founder of Accessible NL. A social enterprise based company focused on modernizing the accessibility of St. John's and the province of NL. With Accessible NL and a little bit of stand up comedy on the side, Josh spreads awareness of the troubles of being disabled in St. John's and works with the community to make a positive change.
