Dr. Frederick Bryan Tate

Dr. Tate, a native of Elizabethtown, NC, attended UNC-Chapel Hill and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1992. He continued on at the UNC School of Dentistry, graduating in 1997. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society and the Seattle Study Club. He has served as the Secretary, Vice-president, and President of the Tri-County Dental Society. Dr. Tate is also a Faculty Club member of Spear Dental in Scottsdale, Az. Where he typically attends 2-3 seminars per year. He joined Dr. Bill Salling in 1997 and they formed Salling and Tate. Dr. Tate has a special interest in Invisalign, CEREC restorations (esthetic porcelain crowns fabricated in a single visit), implant placement and restorations, and comprehensive cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Tate has earned a fellowship from the Congress of Oral Implantologist (FCOI) from his training in placing and restoring dental implants. He is trained in "all-0n-4" and smartfix, implant-supported bridges for full mouth restorations. He is also trained to recognize and help treat airway issues that may contribute to sleep apnea.

Dr. James A. Salling

Dr. James A. Salling, raised in the Wrightsville Beach area, received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He then graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Salling completed a one-year advanced education residency, earning a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study from Boston University. Dr. Salling is also a current member of the American Dental Association. His interests include porcelain crowns and veneers, and implant restorations. Dr. Salling is available for new patients, emergency appointments, and anyone seeking comprehensive dental care.

Dr. Katlin P. Jameson

Dr. Katlin P. Jameson, born and raised in New Bern, N.C., received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University, graduating magna cum laude. She then continued her education at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. After receiving her dental degree, Dr. Jameson sought advanced training through a one-year residency program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This training allowed her to gain experience providing advanced restorative and dental implant therapies to patients with complex medical and dental conditions. Dr. Jameson's treatment philosophy centers on providing individualized and compassionate care. Cornerstones of her practice focus on patient education and understanding what is important to each patient so that personalized treatment options can be offered that address their goals and help to achieve and maintain long-term oral health. Dr. Jameson and her husband, Craven, live in Wilmington with their son, Callum and cockapoo, Ellie-Mae. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach, boating, and relaxing with family and friends.

Many of you have already met my son, Dr. James Salling, whose been with the practice now for 15 years and Dr. Bryan Tate, my trusted partner of 23 years. They have been co-owners of the practice for eight years now, and both gentlemen are exceptional dentists who would be honored to continue the caring dentistry that each of you have come to expect.
