Agnieszka lives in West Palm Beach with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs, Blueberry and Sweet T. She loves to travel and explore different cultures, especially trying new cuisines. Agnieszka spends her free time having fun with her family and friends, ideally in outdoor activities that include the pool or the ocean.
Aimee Velez is a civil litigator with a majority of her career focused on defending insurance companies and their insureds in insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, subrogation and personal injury cases. Her litigation practice has included representing clients on both sides in all stages of the civil litigation process from pre-suit through trial.
In addition, Aimee has extensive experience working in both management, marketing and insurance underwriting. Her unique background has provided her with the skills necessary to manage a large litigation docket and perform above and beyond her client's expectations. She prides herself in effectively communicating and being proactive with her client's needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Aimee served as staff counsel for a major insurance company in Texas focused on personal injury litigation.

Andrew Wells concentrates his practice on product liability, premises liability, business litigation and sports, recreation and entertainment. Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Andrew worked in the New York office of an international law firm representing lenders, servicers, residential mortgage-backed security trusts and government-sponsored enterprises in cases challenging the enforceability of securitized debt obligations and collateral documents. Ansel Stroud concentrates his practice in first party insurance defense litigation. He applies experience in oral advocacy, drafting and discovery to achieve optimal results for his clients.

Carla Varriale-Barker is an accomplished litigator who is at home in a courtroom, board room or classroom. For more than three decades, Carmen Y. Cartaya has successfully tried civil litigation matters across a variety of specialties including maritime and admiralty law, equine law, medical malpractice, general insurance defense, professional errors and omissions, rehabilitation facilities, home health care and specialty long-term-care hospital liability, commercial litigation and defense of national class actions.
Carmen has extensive experience in maritime law, having served as general counsel to the largest container leasing company in the world, preparing and negotiating leases and contracts and managing all aspects of litigation for the company. She has defended major cruise lines and concessionaires to the cruise industry on crew and passenger claims. She has also handled cargo claims and actions in rem, including arrests of commercial vessels.
