SOURCING IQ - Key Persons

Mary Ruth - CEO

Job Titles:
  • CEO
When you hear Mary Ruth speak about supply chain sourcing, you might as well be hearing a top-notch coach at half-time. She brings a fire and passion to the subject that's refreshing and unexpected. She loves to problem-solve, and we don't mean how to get from A to B. Her sourcing conundrums and solutions often involve getting there with stops in understanding Chinese tariffs, converting currencies, and ensuring you're getting the best possible price. As CEO, Mary Ruth strategizes with our clients' C-Suite and leads consulting engagements from time to time, which she loves, and never wants to get away from. She says, "It keeps me in tune with what is going on, and I get a lot of joy out of accomplishing a client's goal." She's most proud of building well-functioning, cohesive teams that are recognized for bringing value to the organization. It just doesn't get better than that! When she's not solving the world's supply chain sourcing problems with gusto, you can find Mary Ruth traveling with her husband or reading one of the five to ten books on her nightstand. That's just how she rolls.

Mike Pearson - COO

Job Titles:
  • COO
As a top goal scorer in "real football" and an award winner for best startup in University, Mike brings his UK (that's the United Kingdom not Kentucky) skills to the table when solving supply chain sourcing problems. And who are we kidding?! Everything sounds better with his British accent. The COVID-19 pandemic has added pressure for execution to the strategic sourcing and procurement industries in Mike's view, but let's not forget that's what this former athlete lives for. As COO, Mike is involved in all aspects of the company, from the internal operational foundations to client engagements. His number one job is always to ensure that clients' expectations are exceeded.
