Dr. Jackson Hall

I was born in Brentwood and grew up here until moving to Franklin during grade school. After high school, I enrolled in college but ultimately decided to serve my country in the United States Navy. After serving one tour, I started on the path to become a dentist, graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, and then receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. Dentistry was something that I always had a passion for. My grandfather and father were both dentists and served the Nashville community since the 1920s. Growing up, I spent many hours at my dad's dental practice and loved seeing the relationships he had with generations of families, often seeing his patient's children and even grandchildren. What resonated with me most was seeing the joy on his patients' faces after their appointments…leaving with a sense of confidence and comfort in their oral health and smile. I am humbled and blessed to have the opportunity to be a third-generation dentist in the beautiful community where I grew up, and to serve alongside a multi-generational family of dentists at Sullivan Dental Partners. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of dentistry and constantly work to stay informed on the newest proven methods and materials. I have continued my education since becoming a dentist by attending advanced courses in many aspects of dentistry, such as CEREC same day restorations, digital dentistry, dental sleep medicine to treat Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and endodontic training for root canals. I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Society. I am married to the most amazing woman I know and we have a son who lights up our world. When my wife and I are not working, you can find us spending time together outdoors, reading books, doing anything we can on the water, or enjoying sports together. We thank God for the opportunities that he has provided us and work to improve our relationships with each other, God, and our savior Jesus Christ.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2011 with honors and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2015, where I received the Dean's Award for Clinical Excellence. As a dentist, I have the unique opportunity to truly impact people's lives. When I'm relieving discomfort, straightening teeth and restoring function, or providing a beautiful and confident smile, I'm helping my patients look and feel better. I am honored that patients come to me and trust me with their oral health. The lifelong friendships we build and strengthen during their visits are immensely rewarding. I love our conversations and what each person chooses to share with me. Not only does this create a bond, but it gives me insight into the best way to approach their oral healthcare needs. I'm proud to be a fifth-generation dentist and to be joining my father in our family practice. Growing up in a dental family, seeing the fulfillment my father and grandfather found in their days, and witnessing the friendships they made with their patients; all these made dentistry the logical path. I have no doubt I made the right decision. I received my bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from Rhodes College in Memphis. I then attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where I graduated in 1988 as salutatorian with honors. I'm heavily involved with many types of continuing education, including lectures, meetings, and hands-on demonstrations. Oral healthcare is constantly evolving. The new technologies, along with materials and processes, mean even more comfortable care and strong results for my patients. By staying current with these changes, I ensure my patients have access to the best care possible. I have received numerous awards during my dental career, and I am a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. I also belong to the following associations: American Dental Association Tennessee Dental Association Nashville Dental Society Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Academy of Laser Dentistry I love what I do, as it allows me to enhance each patient's quality of life.
