Dr Paul and Yvonne Tienda married over thirty-five years ago in Pueblo, CO, where they were born and raised. They share a passion for education, health, community development and service to others. The Tienda Foundation has been established to help further their vision of developing students info effective leaders and professionals that can help build safer, healthier and more sustainable communities... Our primary mission is to help build safer, healthier and more sustainable communities by investing in apprenticeship, higher education and community development programs. We provide educational/apprenticeship program grants and needs-based stipends to high school juniors and seniors in Colorado. Our goal is to inspire and empower public school students to enroll in apprenticeship programs and to graduate from institutions of higher education.
