Wellfleet Arbor Committee (WAC) is a non-profit organization of concerned Wellfleet citizens committed to promoting the health and beauty of trees and greenspaces on Town land... The Wellfleet Arbor Committee is invested in the development and ongoing care of projects that will benefit the health and character of the town and wellbeing of its people. We look forward to creating and nurturing spaces for our community to grow and thrive in for today and for generations to come... The committee was founded in May of 2013, in response to the loss of a number of trees which provided a beneficial shade canopy along Main Street. The Wellfleet Arbor Committee's mission is to preserve, improve, and create public greenspaces and streetscapes.
