BRIAN MOLE IFA - Key Persons
Amelia joined Brian Mole in April 2022 and is very keen to expand her knowledge within the business. She has worked in administration for a number of years and undertook a role within the mortgage sector of financial services before joining BMIFA. She is looking forward to taking her first steps into qualifications In November 2022 with the view to eventually become an IFA at Brian Mole.
Amelia lives in Burton and has two children, Miles & Gracie. She enjoys watching live music and loves football, she is a keen Aston Villa fan.
Bethan started her career in financial services in 2000, as a graduate she was offered the position of a group pensions administrator, knowing nothing about pensions! She has come a long way since then, working in both Administration and Paraplanning roles until she became a Financial Adviser with NatWest in 2006. After having her second child in 2011, Bethan decided that her strengths fell in Paraplanning, which she has done ever since.
Bethan has her Diploma in Financial Planning and has started working towards becoming Chartered.
Bethan lives in Woodville with her children, Lui and Bella and their cats. Out of work Bethan enjoys spending time with her children and goes home to Wales as often as possible to visit family.

David has been working within financial services since 2013 and started providing advice to clients in 2017. Over this time, he decided to work towards completing his advanced examinations as he wanted to learn and understand the more technical aspects of Financial Planning to give him more confidence and knowledge with more complex areas. This resulted in him gaining both his Level 6 Advanced Diploma and becoming a Chartered Financial Planner under the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) in 2022 which he was very proud of. David is now working towards completing his Fellowship with the CII.
David is able to help clients in a range of areas from tax efficient investing, retirement planning, inheritance tax advice and many other matters. Ultimately what David cares about most is that he helps his clients to both understand and utilise their finances in the most efficient way for their circumstances for the things that are most important to them.
Outside of work David lives with his partner Harriett in Etwall along with their 2 cats and 2 dogs. David ‘s main interest is in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he's competed both nationally and internationally for over 15 years and is something he's very passionate about.
Dean has worked in the financial services industry for all of his working life. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and fully qualified. He joined Brian Mole IFA in 2005, and is now a Director of the Company. Dean is passionately committed to the concept of 'independent' advice, and is proud that Brian Mole IFA has remained truly independent and impartial. He is Burton-born and bred, and now lives in Church Gresley. Dean likes to be active, enjoying running, working out, and climbing. He is also very passionate about Rugby
Gary joined Brian Mole IFA Limited in 2, having been in the Financial Services industry in 1985. He is a member of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) and qualified to Diploma status. He lives in Derby and is married with 4 grown up children and several grandchildren. When Gary is not busy, he enjoys watching most sport and playing snooker.

Greg recently joined Brian Mole IFA Ltd in 2015, having worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. He began his career working for Coventry Building Society, moving on subsequently to Cheltenham & Gloucester and later Derbyshire Building Society. He has worked as both a tied adviser and an Independent Financial Adviser, helping people make the most of their money and achieve their financial objectives in life. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), qualified to Diploma level, and now looks after the Compliance function here at Brian Mole. Greg is married to Carol, enjoys badminton, reading, the guitar and bluegrass banjo, and remains hopeful of one day being able to play a decent hand of bridge.
Heather began her career in financial services in 2018 after having a previous accountancy background. She has worked in administration, paraplanning and has given advise on mortgages and protection all before joining Brian Mole. She has held her Diploma in financial planning for some time now, along with the certificate in mortgage advice and hopes to be able to combine her experience and qualifications to begin her own adviser journey. Heather lives in Rolleston on Dove with her dog, Skye. Out of work Heather loves trying new sports, walking with the dog and socialising with friends.
Howard is a Director of the company and joined Brian Mole IFA Limited in 2003. He is a member of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) and qualified to Diploma status. Howard joined the Financial Services Industry at the young age of 22 in 1985. His career began with Co-op Insurance Services. This gave him a good insight into the industry. He moved to Britannic Assurance in 1989 and enjoyed a further 9 successful years before then deciding to join the world of Independent Financial Advisers. He set up his own company at the beginning of 1998, and created the IFA arm of a large Nottingham Accountancy company.
In 2003 he moved to Brian Mole IFA Limited as a Senior Financial Adviser and in early 2009 was invited to become a Director of the company, which he accepted with a great deal of pride, energy and enthusiasm. He is committed to moving forward, and to continue to develop Brian Mole IFA Limited.
Howard lives in Mickleover, and is married to Jane. They have 3 sons. Howard, as with many of the staff at Brian Mole IFA Limited enjoys all sports, especially football, and is a keen supporter of Derby County and Burton Albion.
Kevin joined Brian Mole IFA Limited in 1994 and is now the company's Managing Director. He is a member of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) and qualified to Diploma status. Kevin lives in Church Broughton with his wife Alison and son Matthew. Kevin enjoys all sports especially cricket having played for Ticknall and Brailsford. Kevin now spends every other Saturday through the football season watching Burton Albion. Kevin's time is split between running the company and looking after his many existing clients. Kevin is Chairman of The Brian Mole IFA Limited Investment Committee, in this role he regularly meets with Fund Managers and analysts in order to ensure he has a great understanding of the investment world. Away from the office Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, he loves good food and good company and has a passion for travel. On a recent holiday, Kevin and his son enjoyed a sailing taster session with Matthew showing a great deal of enthusiasm and skill. As a result, both Kevin and Matthew took RYA sailing courses and are now adjudged to be competent dinghy sailors, in reality, it is Matthew who is competent with Kevin simply trying to avoid getting wet!
Mark has been with Brian Mole IFA Limited since 2003. He is a member of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) and joined the financial services industry in 1989, spending many years with the Halifax Building Society as well as HSBC and John Charcol. Mark spent a few years working towards completing his advanced examinations, culminating in completion of these in 2015 and is now qualified to Chartered Financial Planner status. He has extensive experience in all areas of financial planning. Mark lives in Burton with his wife Lesley and daughter Amelia. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, socialising and is a follower of Everton Football.
Natalie joined Brian Mole in June 2022 as a Financial Controller. She has worked as a management accountant in previous roles prior to joining Brian Mole and has 25 years worth of finance experience culminating in her working her way to this position. Natalie looks after all things finance related within Brian Mole both internally and externally to ensure our internal accounts are kept at acceptable levels. Outside of work Natalie has her own clothing business which keeps her busy as well as her rescue dog Teddy.
Nigel has been with Brian Mole IFA limited since 2005. He is a member of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) and qualified to Diploma status. He joined the Financial Services Industry in 1992. Nigel spent 13 years with the Co-operative Insurance Society. In 2009, Nigel joined the board of Brian Mole IFA Limited as a Director. He stated "this is the highlight of my career so far!" Nigel is committed to the Financial Services Industry and cares deeply about his numerous clients. He is married to Helen and they have 3 children, Ellis, Callum and Jordon. Out of work Nigel has been heavily involved in local football, but as he is getting older, he spends his time now on the sidelines. He is also extremely competitive and enjoys all the inter office sports competitions.
Nigel joined Brian Mole IFA LTD in 2004 and has over 25 years experience in Financial Services. He lives locally with his wife Carol and their two daughters Isabelle & Emily. When not looking after his many clients, Nigel enjoys watching most sports and he plays cricket for Winshill Cricket Club. He also loves to keep fit and he has recently become a qualified Les Mills instructor in Body Attack.
Peter has 27 years' experience in financial services and joined BM in 2007.Lives in Derby,Married to Dawn with grown up family. Enjoys most sports,(only as a spectator now) Music and coast and country walks.
Phil lives at Church Leigh in Staffordshire with his partner Bev and their daughter Chelsea. He is a member of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) and qualified to Diploma status. Phil has worked in financial services since 1981 and joined Brian Mole IFA Limited in 2004. Phil is also a keen sportsman, particularly football and is a regular supporter of Burton Albion, as well as an avid Chelsea supporter. Phil likes to relax by completing crosswords, quizzes. He also enjoys listening to all types of music and keen on walks in the countryside.
Shannon came into the Financial Services industry through an apprenticeship in Providing Financial Services, which she completed in April 2016. Shannon joined Brian Mole IFA Limited in October 2016 and she is keen to study further towards her Diploma.
In her spare time, Shannon particularly enjoys spending time socialising with her family and friends and listening to various types of music. She lives in Atherstone and has two cats, two dogs, two guinea pigs and chickens!
Sharon joined Brian Mole in September 2013 and has over 30 years' experience within Financial Services.
She lives in Branston with her husband Chris and dog, Finbar. Her interests include holidays, motorsports and rugby (a follower of Wasps and Harlequins).
Terry has been with Brian Mole IFA Limited since 1997. He is qualified to Diploma status. Prior to joining Brian Mole he had over 10 years' experience with Pearl Assurance. Terry lives with his partner Karen and they have 2 young children Nevada and Jenson. Terry also has 2 older children Alison and Richard. Terry lives locally near Sudbury and interests include DIY and gardening. Terry is also the Club Secretary for Dove Valley Amateur Swimming Club in Uttoxeter where both Nevada and Jenson are competitive swimmers.
