From creating childhood birdhouse and pinewood derby projects in his father's workshop, to building his first piece of solid wood furniture in his teens, Denali Woodworks owner Jason Skagen has loved working with wood throughout his entire life. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with an engineering degree, Jason worked in food manufacturing for 14 years. During his spare time, he built bedroom sets, desks, hope chests, and other custom furniture for family and friends. Ultimately, demand for his business was great enough that he decided to open Denali Woodworks, a Minnesota based company serving the Minneapolis, Rochester, and St. Paul areas, with customers reaching into Wisconsin and Iowa...
