Allison Vines is a 2006 graduate of Appalachian State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Before joining the eBen team, Allison was an educator in the Avery County Public School System for seven years.
Since joining the eBen team, Allison has been serving as an account manager for small and large groups. She also services individual clients with various health care needs.
Allison and her husband, Chuck, have one son named Noah. Chuck is currently employed by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. Noah just recently began school and enjoys playing baseball.
Outside of the office, Allison appreciates such outdoor activities as hiking, biking, and running, and she feels the mountains of North Carolina offer the perfect backdrop for all these fun activities.
Amy started at Chappell Smith & Associates in 2006 working in the accounting department. Her friendliness and customer focus led her to join the benefits team in 2011. Amy attained her PAHM, Professional Academy for Healthcare Management designation showing competency in health plans in 2013. In 2016, she received the designation of Certified Benefit Account Manager from the National Association of Health Underwriters. Amy is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters.
When Amy is not busy helping clients she enjoys spending time with her husband J.J., daughter Avery and son Nick. Her two children keep her running from cheering competitions to baseball tournaments.
Angela lives in Clinton, NC. She is married with two daughters, two son-n-laws and three granddaughters. Angela previously worked as HR Manager for a glass manufacturing company that closed in 2004. She then started work with Group Benefit Services/ eBen Benefits in 2005 as an Agent/ Account Manager. In her spare time, Angela enjoys reading, crafting and spending time with her family at their "happy place" at North Myrtle Beach.
Anna graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Elementary Education. She began her insurance carrier in 2018 as Benefits Counselor, educating thousands of employees across countless states.
Anna joined Snipes Insurance and eBen in September 2021 as an Account Manager in the Raleigh Office. She enjoys helping support clients and building a clear understanding of benefits for those outside the insurance industry.
Anna lived in Munich, Germany for 6 years, so she loves spending time traveling with her husband, Drew. But on weekends at home, she can be found working on a project around the house or playing with her dog Hugo.
Becky is a native of the Asheville area and has worked in the insurance business for over 20 years. Prior to joining White Insurance Agency in November, 2019 as a life and health agent, she worked on the life brokerage side for a local general agencyand then for Keystone Insurers Group in their Financial Services Division, serving as a life insurance case manager. With her brokerage experience, this has enabled Becky to bring a new perspective to her agency' s life and health
Candi has worked in the employee benefits industry for almost 20 years. She has worked at a brokerage, general agent and PEO over the years. In her role as an Account Manager, Candi manages all manners of client engagement including but not limited to claims resolution assistance, client and employee support, marketing of renewals and new business lines of coverage, employee enrollment meetings and renewal submissions.
Candi has a passion for helping people and works hard to meet individual clients needs.
In her free time Candi enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Carrie is from Fuquay Varina, NC and graduated from Campbell University with a BS in Business
Administration in 2003. She also played 4 years of soccer at Campbell. She went to work for a TPA out
of college and has enjoyed working in the benefits world ever since. She worked at eBen for 8 years
prior to recently returning after enjoying being home with her daughter. She has a passion for helping
others and loves the client service role she is able to play at eBen. She is a member of NABIP and the
Chelsea was born and raised in Savannah, GA. After high school she pursued a career in the medical field as a Surgical Technologist but later realized that she enjoys an office setting. She has been with Rubnitz and eBen for five years working on claims and service issues. In her free time, she enjoys boating, spending time with her pitbull named Bourbon, and keeping up with the latest shows.
Daniel has been with the eBen team in Spruce Pine since August 2018. He has received certifications for Life & Accident and Health in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Prior to receiving his certifications, he began his career at eBen as an Administrative Assistant and has since moved to an Account Manager's position, assisting with both Small and Large groups.
Daniel most enjoys his work when he is interacting with the clients he serves. He has a passion to help others and solve problems. Daniel and his wife, Tayler Bomar have been married since October 2019. Outside of work Daniel enjoys sports such as golf as well as coaching football and wrestling. He was formally a collegiate athlete, wrestling at St. Andrews University.
Danielle has worked in the industry since 2021 and in Customer service before that. Danielle has a desire to help others navigate issues and questions in regards to their health insurance needs.
In the role of admin, Danielle assists the team in accomplishing the goals of the office. Danielle assists with groups for enrollments and in picking their benefits. Danielle works with the carriers and the groups to reach positive outcomes.
She is excited to learn and grow in knowledge of the business.
Danielle has lived in Burlington, NC for the last 30 years. Danielle worked in the school system for 7 years before joining the Burlington eBen Office in October, 2021. Danielle is excited to learn and grow as an Account Manager.

Ellen joined the Broome Team in January 2018. A UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, she started her career in the banking industry, providing credit and cash management services for commercial clients. After moving to Hickory in 1997, she began working in Human Resources, serving as Human Resource Director for several community banks and most recently working in benefits administration in the healthcare and manufacturing industries.
Ellen has obtained her PHR and SHRM-CP Human Resource Certifications and looks forward to sharing her benefits experience and knowledge with her clients through exceptional service. As an Account Manager, she handles service request needs, quoting, policy reviews, policy changes, benefits administration, and welcomes any questions related to benefits coverage and health plans.
Ellen volunteers with the Hickory Choral Society Auxiliary, known as "The Grace Notes," in support of her husband, Bucky, and the many other wonderful singers in the group. She and her husband have five wonderful children, joined by an amazing son-in-law and daughter-in-law, as well as two adorable grandsons. A former Boston Marathoner, Ellen now gets her exercise through biking, working out at the gym, and hiking. In her free time, she loves having family get-togethers, singing in her church choir, hiking in the mountains, and traveling with her husband.
Gale has lived in Spruce Pine, North Carolina for 22 years. Gale and her husband Bryan have four children and 4 grandchildren that they enjoy spending time with. Gale has been with eBen since February 2021. She worked at Wells Fargo for 13 years prior to coming to eBen. Gale enjoys attending various concerts and traveling to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.
