Adam Jackson

Adam joined AEGIS in 2020 as part of the Nexidus Commodities acquisition. He brings over a decade of experience in risk management, derivatives, and physical trading from the producer, processor, and consumer perspectives. As Principal and Co-founder of Nexidus, Adam and the team provided tailored commodity price risk management solutions for industrial clients primarily in the metals markets. Before Nexidus, he managed commodity price risk across Alcoa Corporation's global portfolio of assets and commodity exposures. He began his career in the energy markets in financial and operations roles before progressing to trading roles with the Tennessee Valley Authority and later Alcoa Corporation. Adam holds a BS in Finance from Tennessee Technological University. He has also earned Series 3 & 30 certifications from the National Futures Association. Outside of the office, Adam enjoys backpacking in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, wake surfing, fitness, and spending time with his wife Jenna and their two children.

Addison Bailey

Addison joined AEGIS in 2020 as an associate in the firm's trading group, where he assists clients in devising and executing hedging strategies. He brings over 12 years of experience in the O&G and Power Industry and is an enthusiastic corporate finance professional with proven success in project management, strategic planning, and market analysis. At R^2, Addison was responsible for hedge valuation, hedge execution, database management, fair-value and risk-adjusted valuations, market analysis, and reporting. Additionally, Addison worked at TriEagle Energy, a Retail Electric Provider serving the ERCOT and PJM markets where he was responsible for power forecasting, scheduling, and trading. Addison holds a Master of Business Administration from Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management from Texas Christian University. He also has a Series 3 certification from the National Futures Association. Away from the office Addison enjoys running, fishing, playing daily fantasy sports and spending time with friends and family.

Andrew is the Chief Compliance Officer, AEGIS SEF. He brings 35 years of experience in commodities, trading and compliance to the team. Prior to joining AEGIS, he served as Managing Director at R^2 for 12 years, supervising the firm's hedge advisory activities on behalf of its clients. Prior to his tenure, Andrew was a portfolio manager for two hedge funds. An options expert, Andrew was the managing member of Atlantic Capital Consultants, a member firm on the NYMEX. At Atlantic, he designed and led the commodity options training & risk management platform for traders in Energy, Precious Metals, Agricultural and Soft commodities. From 1993 to 2000 Andrew served as a member of the NYMEX Business Conduct Committee. Andrew also held CTA/CPO Compliance Supervisor positions at Hudson Capital, WFP Capital and Penway Group. In his spare time, you can find Andrew blogging & tweeting (AEGIS does not endorse and is not affiliated with any public sports fanaticism!) about value-based decisions with investments, the NFL Draft, and his beloved NY Giants. Andrew has been married for 30 years and has two daughters.

Angela Pedersen

Her role involves working closely with prospective customers to assess their needs and recommend the right solutions. Prior to joining AEGIS, Angela worked for Merrill Corporation, for over eleven years, where she spent time in business development and sales management, in addition to serving as a product trainer for the company's global sales team. Before Merrill, Angela spent several years in consumer and mortgage lending in various roles including individual contributor, sales manager, and Regional Vice President. Her prior experience has positioned her to understand the unique depths of customer relationships and to focus on results-driven solutions. Angela studied Business at William Penn University. Outside of the office, she enjoys running, biking, kayaking, meditating, and spending time with her three children.

Guided by one philosophy that has been the common thread tying together her professional opportunities and successes - When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too - Ashley pursues her passion for a more holistic approach to client management in a way that brings clarity, direction, and a growth-focused mentality to get measurable results. She is a graduate of The University of Houston with a degree in Anthropology and Psychology. In line with her passion for people, Ashley is also a life coach and mentor, focused on helping people live a more fulfilling life. Benedict Rocchio has served on the AEGIS Board since June 2019, Benedict joined Baird Capital's Venture Capital team in 2000 and concentrates on investments in the Technology-Enabled Services sector. In addition to AEGIS, Benedict is a current member on the board of directors at Appcast, FullContact, Radius, Signal, StartWire, ParkWhiz, Snagajob and Wordstream. He has also worked directly with over 20 other investments of Baird Capital, including Axcelerant, ALI Systems, edo Interactive, Fellon McCord, HireRight, PayChoice and Sittercity. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Illinois Venture Capital Association and the Western Golf Association. At Enverus, Brendan provided analysis and commentary for reports covering major oil & gas plays, helped manage upstream oil & gas engineering products, and produced articles and presentations for major conferences and publications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of the office, Brendan enjoys live music, playing golf and basketball, traveling, and watching Texas athletics.

Bruce Aust

Bruce Aust joined the AEGIS SEF board in 2021 and brings deep expertise in regulated trading markets, technology innovation, and market expansion. Prior to serving as Vice Chairman of NASDAQ, Bruce served as Executive Vice President of Global Listings from 2003 to 2014, where he oversaw NASDAQ's new listings and capital markets business and 3,900 companies on NASDAQ's sixteen listing markets worldwide. Upon his appointment as Vice Chairman in 2014, Aust played an integral role in the creation and launch of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco, a non-profit organization designed to engage emerging entrepreneurs through education and mentorship. During Bruce's 21-year tenure, NASDAQ won some of the largest IPOs in history including Google, Facebook, Tesla, PayPal, and Baidu. Mr. Aust has assisted over 300 companies with public listings while developing relationships with leading CEOs. Mr. Aust also spent twelve years at Fidelity Investments in numerous roles within their retail brokerage unit from 1986 to 1998. Mr. Aust is currently a strategic advisor and board member to several private companies as well as an advisor to 150 Bond, an advisory firm to C-level executives. Bryan has served as Chairman of the AEGIS Board and as CEO of the firm since June 2019. Bryan co-founded the firm and joined AEGIS in 2017 to lead the operations, technology and financial management of the Company as an outside advisor since its inception in 2013. Prior to joining AEGIS, Bryan was the President of Health & Wealth Solutions at Alight Solutions, leading 17,000 global colleagues serving 1,400 benefits administration and consumer experience consulting clients in a business that generated $2.4bn in annual revenue. Prior to this role, Bryan was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer of Aon Hewitt. Bryan is a graduate of Berry College and a Fellow of the CEO Perspectives Program through the Kellogg School of Management. Bryan also serves as the Lead Independent Director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee for LGI Homes (NASDAQ: LGIH). Outside of the office, Bryan enjoys playing golf, wakesurfing, listening to live music, cheering on the Astros, learning about wine and spending time with his wife and 3 children.

Cal Clyde

Before joining AEGIS, Cal worked in the Oil & Gas industry, developing business in the West Texas chemical services space, serving customers in both Houston and the Permian Basin. Cal also brings experience in the wholesale/industrial plumbing supplies sector calling and servicing clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a focus on the construction industry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Texas Wesleyan University and was named to the Ping All American Team for Golf. Prior to the above roles, Cal pursued a career playing golf professionally for two years, followed by an additional 12-month stint before taking his current role at AEGIS. Chris Croom

Chris has served on the AEGIS Board and as President of the firm since June 2019. Chris co-founded the firm and served as its first CEO as it grew from start-up to industry leader. Going forward, Chris will focus on all market-related activities including client relationship management, sales and business development. Prior to founding AEGIS, Chris spent six years as President of ARM Energy, previously known as Asset Risk Management, advising both public and private oil and gas producers on their hedge portfolios. Chris was one of the original members of Bear Energy LP, a subsidiary of Bear Stearns, where he was responsible for the company's derivative marketing activities across natural gas, crude oil, and crude product platforms. Prior to Bear Energy, Chris worked for the National Bank of Canada originating structured product opportunities and marketing energy derivatives to both upstream and downstream markets across North America. Chris began his career in derivatives with Enron as part of Enron's Industrial Markets Group, where he focused on marketing hedging structures across various OTC commodity markets. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics from Texas Tech University. CHRISTOPHER ("CHRIS") MANNING is a Managing Partner of Trilantic North America and Chairman of Trilantic Energy Partners North America. Chris is also a member of the Investment Committees of Fund III, Fund IV Global, Fund V North America, TEP I North America, Fund VI North America, and TEP II North America. His primary focus is on investments in the energy sector. Chris joined Trilantic North America in 2009 at its inception, prior to which he was at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking (LBMB). Chris joined LBMB in 2000 and was the Head of Lehman Brothers' Investment Management Division, including both the Asset Management and Private Equity businesses, in Asia-Pacific from 2006 to 2008. He was also a member of the Global Investment Management Division Executive Committee and the Private Equity Division Operating Committee. Prior to joining the Natural Resources investment banking practice at Lehman Brothers, Chris was the Chief Financial Officer of The Wing Group, a developer of international power projects. Prior to this role, Chris transformed multiple Aon Hewitt (Alight predecessor company) consumer- and client-facing businesses. Before joining Alight, Chris spent over 10 years in consulting and energy leadership roles across retail and wholesale power operations with Arthur Andersen, NewPower, and Direct Energy (Centrica). Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and Business Honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He has successfully completed a leadership development program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a former board member of the Woodlands Economic Development Partnership. Prior to Zenith, Dana achieved a life-long dream of owning and running a horse farm and training horses for the hunter ring. Prior to owning her farm, Dana enjoyed six years as center director for her family's Sylvan Learning Center franchise where she grew the business to one of the top five centers in the country. Prior to Sylvan Dana spent five years with Pepsi-Cola International supporting executives in Advertising and Accounting. Outside of the office, Dana is a proud Mom of two boys. David Pond

Prior to joining AEGIS, David spent 16 years at Ernst & Young leading the Business Development function in the firm's $1.5B Southwest region. He also served as the Global Client Service Partner on several key accounts with responsibility for client relationships and financial performance. Over his 30-year career, David developed sales strategies, built high performing sales teams, and created meaningful client relationships. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate from Texas Christian University and an M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Outside of the office, David enjoys running, hiking, fishing, spending time with his family and volunteering his spare time to his favorite charities.

Elie Zabal

Elie joined AEGIS as Board Advisor in 2021. Prior to AEGIS, Elie was the CEO and Founder of InstaNext, which developed the InstaNext software platform for energy risk management. He was formerly CEO and Founder of INSSINC, the developer of FUTRAK, a leading software system that was used globally by energy companies, banks, and CPG companies to manage their exposures to financial risk. After a successful twenty-five years, INSSINC was acquired by Triple Point Technology, where Elie remained on board as a Senior Executive until 2012. Prior to INSSINC, Elie served as Vice President of Societé Generale New York, where he was responsible for the automation of its U.S. dealing operations. Elie has spent his entire career designing complex trading systems for the areas of derivatives, finance, and accounting.  He has been invited to speak at numerous conferences on the subjects of risk management, hedge accounting, and fair value standards. Elie is based in Fort Lauderdale and outside of work, enjoys playing golf and tennis and traveling with his wife Rosemary.

Grant Weber

Grant is a Business Development Associate for the firm. He is responsible for supporting all sales and business development efforts. In his role, he works closely with prospective customers to assess and recommend the right solutions from AEGIS. Before joining AEGIS, Grant worked in the restaurant industry for seven years as a Supervisor of Operations for Chick-Fil-A. His responsibilities included overseeing shift layouts for optimum results, monitoring inventory levels, and hiring new personnel. He also participated in grand openings for new Chick-Fil-A restaurants all around the country, where he provided knowledge and guidance to new staff personnel to deliver strong results. Grant attended Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management. During his time at Texas A&M, Grant was acknowledged as a distinguished Terry Scholar and participated in the Financial Management Association. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family and playing basketball and golf.

Hannah Fritz

She graduated from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas, where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Corporate Finance with a minor in Management Information Systems. During her time at UT, Hannah interned at Royalty Clearinghouse, where she first gained experience in the oil and gas industry.   Outside of the office, Hannah enjoys baking, working out, and competing as a professional bodybuilder.

Jade Lietzke
