EL PASO SOL

El Paso Sol Volleyball Club was established in 2014. The name, "Sol" was chosen for two reasons. The first reason was that El Paso Sol was El Paso's first co-Ed pro-volleyball team in 1975 that went on to become national champions. The second reason was that, prior to being known as El Paso Sol, the club was known as El Paso Heat. Our name was eventually altered to represent our borderland demographics, while still maintaining the theme of heat. Within four years of having an 18s team, 13 of our seniors have had college offers to play volleyball and half of these players accepted full-ride scholarships.
