Good Works Community Development Corporation (Good Works CDC) is a non-profit 501c3 organization located in Shreveport, LA. Established in August 2020, our organization serves the North Louisiana geographical area with focalized goals within individual families residing in struggling neighborhoods. We endeavor to promote and support community development, along with a variety of activities including economic development, education, and various community initiatives... Good Works CDC was founded in August 2020 by Marcus George, out of a desire to utilize his expertise, resourcefulness, and innovation as an opportunity to address critical, social, economic, and environmental challenges facing individuals and families residing in the North Louisiana. He has been a community activist since 2010, working with communities to bring about change in the lives of residents and groups subjected to disparate, discriminatory and oppressive conditions.
