GOODMAN CAMPBELL - Key Persons

Ashley Fish

I have been a registered nurse and have worked in many areas over the past 25 years. I started my career in critical care, then moved on to outpatient surgery/PACU, and now I am excited to make the transition to neurosurgery here at Goodman Campbell. I've enjoyed different aspects of my nursing career, but in every job, I've loved getting to know my patients and their families on a personal level. I pride myself on being a patient advocate, as well as educating and assisting them throughout their care. I am married and have three beautiful daughters, a sweet (but hairy) German shepherd, and a cuddly cat. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, laughing with my friends, watching my girls play volleyball, and reading a good book. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Ball State University Muncie, IN

Ashley Ponsler

As a nurse practitioner, I am committed to providing excellent care to our patients. I take pride in developing relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. In my spare time, I enjoy boating, gardening, listening to music, and golfing.

Audra Frezza

Audra has been part of the Goodman Campbell team since 2011. She served as director of operations until 2019, when she assumed the role of chief operating officer. Prior to joining GCBS, Audra spent more than 12 years at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in various roles, including IT director and CIO, which provided significant experience in the areas of IT and operation-based initiatives. This experience, coupled with the completion of her MBA in 2002 (Butler University), provided a valuable framework for her to apply to her roles of director of operations and now chief operating officer. Audra's passion is centered around the belief that health care should consistently be delivered with the highest level of patient service. Every employee is at the center of that patient service and should feel respected and valued.

Bev Hoopingarner

After graduating from Ball State University, I started my nursing career at Tucson Medical Center in a progressive unit. We then relocated back to good old Indiana, where I worked ICU (primarily neuro ICU) for over 15 years. GCBS has been my work home for 23 years. I have been nursing for over 40 years, and it is my passion! Assisting patients and their families through the neurosurgery process is something I cherish. Easing their fears, answering their questions, or just listening-these are all things I embrace. I truly care for our patients and provide the care I would expect a family member to receive. My surgeons are not just good, they are exceptional, and they expect our patients to have exceptional care. In my free time, I love spending time with my grown children and their families. Long hikes in the parks are a joy. (Yes, I'm a tree hugger.) Trips to the beach to walk in the sand are always revitalizing. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Ball State University

Danielle Pfeffer

I have had the privilege of working as a registered nurse for six years, and a nurse practitioner for the past four years. Nursing has fulfilled both my love of learning and my passion for serving those in need. I love the challenges and the opportunities my work in health care has presented me. I currently work with our interventional pain management team and find the work both challenging and rewarding. When I am not working, I spend my time at home with my five children and my husband. When I get a moment of free time, I enjoy live music and movies.
