Cohiba Cuban cigars, the history begins in 1492, during Columbus' first journey to the "new world", he visited the island of Cuba. His men were introduced to "Cohiba" by the island inhabitants, a pile of dried leaves that were smoked in a pipe called "Tabaco" aka Cohiba (Cohiba Cuban cigar), Cuban Cigars. [show_more more=Read-More less=Read-Less]In 1982, three types of Cuban Cohiba cigars were introduced to non-diplomats: the Lanceros, the Coronas Especiales, and the Panetelas. Three additional vitolas were added to the brand in 1989: the Splendid, the Robust and the Exquisite, completing what is known as "The Classic Line". Five more vitolas were added in 1992, creating the "1492 Line": the I, II, III, IV, and V Century. Cohiba remains the "King of the Cubans". Only the best tobacco leaves are used to create various types of Cohiba cigars. A distinctive flavor has been attributed to Cohiba beans, however, I would say that the common factor among the Cohiba family is the strong nature..
