The medical devices, such as anesthesia consumables, in vitro diagnostic reagents, medical protective consumables, infusion medical consumables, medical nursing consumables, rehabilitation equipment, denture raw materials and processing and etc., produced in Henan Province has a significant influence in the medical device industry in China because of their obvious advantages. The domestic market share of these products exceeds 40%. At the same time, Henan Province's medical device products are exported to more than 50 countries around the world, and the average total annual export volume in recent years is about 70 million US dollars. The products mainly cover anesthesia, epidemic prevention and protection, one-time infusion, vision correction (eye protection) supplies, nursing consumables, traditional Chinese medicine treatment equipment, rehabilitation equipment and health care equipment, neonatal incubators, monitors, etc. Henan Chamber of Commerce For Medical Devices (HNCCMD) is a provincial industry organization voluntarily participated by entities engaged in production, R&D, operation and direct service and use of medical devices in Henan Province; HNCCMD is also assistant and counselor of the government and acts as a bridge and link between the government and its members. At present, there are more than 700 members registered under HNCCMD, including more than 200 manufacturing enterprises.
