Ayo holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Covenant University Lagos, Nigeria and is currently studying an MBA at the Edinburgh Business School, Scotland. He is an accredited Clarity4D UK Business Partner/ Trainer.
Having worked within the Financial services, Construction, and HR Consulting industry in Nigeria, he has honed a unique skill set in Data Gathering, Leadership, Research, Business/Finance advisory, client relations and a host of other soft skills.
He has facilitated and co-facilitated training intervention programs on Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Effective Communication, Business Writing, Performance Management, and Data Gathering for a major state-owned revenue generating agency, a Nigerian multinational bank, a major manufacturer of personal healthcare products and consumer goods organizations, a federal government-owned agency and much more using the Survey Monkey tool, amongst others.
Folashade Adeloye is a qualified common law solicitor with extensive experience and certification in wealth management, corporate/regulatory compliance & governance and investment banking. She has worked in asset management and capital markets for over fifteen years and developed expertise in wealth transfer as it relates to gifting, estate planning, business succession planning, future family security, governance, and charitable giving. Over the years, Folashade has rendered wealth management and succession planning services to High Net Worth Individuals and affluent families across several jurisdictions, displaying a deep understanding of trust & tax laws, gifting techniques, and trans-generational family and business governance.
Folashade started her career as a lawyer with Aina Blankson LP where she rose to lead the corporate commercial and corporate services divisions of the Firm in transactions ranging from mergers & acquisitions, debt & equity financing to new business registration, estate, and secretarial services. She later joined Nigeria's leading non-bank asset management group, Asset & Resource Management Holding Company (ARM) as an in-house counsel. At ARM, she was counsel on several business combinations and financing transactions, conceptualisation, and constitution of several private equity funds, legal advisory on real estate development projects and was the Group's company secretary.
Working with ARM's trust and estate planning business, Folashade took on the helms of the subsidiary, ARM Trustees Limited. During this period, she managed ARM Trustees' book of business and operations, was responsible for driving strategy and profitability and ensuring employee engagement. ARM Trustees' close alignment with ARM Group's wealth and investment management business led to the achievement of a 100% growth target in client base and AUM. Over a six-year period, Folashade and a team of experienced private wealth and trust advisors propelled ARM Group's trust business' appointment on high profile debt market transactions cumulatively valued at circa U$10bn, thus driving the business to profitability and achieving recognition as a strong player in the corporate and private trust industry in Sub-Saharan Africa. Kafilat has over a decade of successful experience in financial analytics and risk management. She specializes in harnessing financial data to drive growth in firms in various industries, including healthcare, financial services, real estate, manufacturing and retail.
She is passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals through financial analytics, risk management and performance measurement. In recent times, she has been committed to helping independent healthcare practices grow and compete in an increasingly competitive landscape. Kafilat holds a certification as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM), issued by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
She earned her Master's in Management Science and Finance from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. There, she learned to apply mathematical concepts and solutions to real-life business problems and found her passion for analytics and modelling. Kafilat spends her free time chauffeuring her brilliant daughters to their activities and currently lives in Albuquerque, NM with her family.
