Jani moved to Ashland in 1999 from Salida, Colorado after her son Bryce was born. She enjoyed two years there as a physician in a very isolated rural town at 7000 feet elevation. She moved to Ashland in 1999 and then opened her own practice in 2001. She has been a provider to many women, children and families. After delivering her daughter Mia in the waterbirth tub at Ashland Community Hospital in 2003, Jani felt strongly about offering this service to other women and was an integral part of developing that program. Dr. Rollins is no longer providing obstetric care but very much enjoys taking care of new babies and families. She has had more time to study functional medicine concepts and looks at each patient as an individual providing a comprehensive health and wellness plan.
