Clare Fagan Cert RP FIRP is the Finance Director and Recruitment Consultant handling permanent vacancies for our Ten Percent Unlimited law firms. She has been involved in the company since the start and has the fortune (or otherwise) of being married to Jonathan Fagan. Clare is a qualified GP and is probably the only medically trained recruitment consultant specialising in the legal profession! Clare enjoys experimental cookery, going to the gym and running.

Emma Ireland AIRP is our specialist Accountancy Practice Recruitment Consultant, covering the whole of the UK and concentrating on ACCA and ACA Accountants. She also helps and advises law firms and accountancy practices on business sales. Emma is an LLB law graduate (Derby University) with a love of literature and poetry. She is a regular performing poet and is based in Derby.

It took us just under 12 months to get our first commission - a crime solicitor in a high street practice in Suffolk. The company was operated by a mobile phone using WAP (remember that?) as Jonathan continued to practice as a high street solicitor in Nottingham. Most days were spent at work as a lawyer and evenings spent working on our online presence, contacting solicitors firms and trying to recruit more candidates. Running a start up company - learning to programme and set up a website from scratch, dealing with Companies House, learning sales & marketing techniques and holding down a full time job - meant that there wasn't a lot of time to do anything else! Leisure time became a thing of the past.. After a couple of years in practice and rather a lot of weekends and evenings spent running Ten-Percent Legal Recruitment, it was quite obvious that something had to give. Jonathan gave up his day job and became our first full time recruitment consultant. At the time we were based in Oadby, Leicestershire and within a year or so we had an office in West Yorkshire as well, even though a good percentage of our work has always been in London and the South East of England. Jonathan Fagan, our Managing Director, was a trainee solicitor in 1999 and began applying for newly qualified solicitor roles in the Midlands.

Peter Gresty Cert RP FIRP is a Senior Recruitment Consultant specialising in permanent legal vacancies across the UK. Peter has been with Ten Percent Legal since 2007 and has worked with law firms from sole practitioners through to large regional solicitors practices. Peter is an avid Manchester City fan and season ticket holder, and plays cricket not quite as badly as Jonathan does for a local North Wales team.
