Allison Ritter

Job Titles:
  • Co - Owner
California made, but southern grown, Allison's entrepreneurial aspirations started at a very young age. Moving to Los Angeles at the young age of 19, Allison quickly became inspired by the culture, lifestyle, and opportunities the golden state provided. She became firmly rooted in event production and design and was looking to broaden her horizons. After a short stint in Entertainment PR, she followed the sweet aroma of the culinary space and found herself a "foodie" and started working with clients within the culinary space. With over 10 years of experience in lifestyle + food PR, Allison founded a creative and collaborative agency in 2016 with a very specific goal; be better. She has since moved to Virginia to put her whisk to work as a restaurateur with additional projects on the horizon. When she's not in the kitchen, Allison loves the outdoors and exploring small towns. She has a weakness for kitchen gadgets, an overbearing tea and coffee addiction and loves spending time with her husband and three boys.

Sue Whitbeck

Job Titles:
  • Owner
Having always admired the tranquil and often ethereal experience of Afternoon Tea, Sue began a journey of discovery. It wasn't so much about the drink, but more about the tradition, experience, and overall interest of taking time out of your busy day for a pot of tea. A trip to the UK, new relationships with international friends, and a desire to provide this experience to tea lovers across Virginia quickly inspired her to bring a little bit of Brit to Berryville. As a Family and Consumer Science Teacher for 23 years, as well as a former restaurateur and momtrepreneur, Sue has been invested in sharing her love of cooking and educating with the community and is happy to share her love of tea with you!
