Valard Bearings was established in South Africa in 1977. Since then the company has serviced industry in the areas of mining, petrochemical, power generation, paper, sugar, steel, water, shipping as well as other heavy industries. Our bearings are in service throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Many of our bearings are in service within the European Union... Valard Bearings is primarily a white metal bearings manufacturer and repairer, however in view of the cumulative loss of skills in the sectors in which we operate, we also provide an on-site consulting and supervisory service... Vertical bearing pads as well as radial bearing pads are routinely manufactured and repaired. We provide bearing solutions to LaFarge, Afrisam and PPC as well as the smaller cement producers, as preferred vendors.
