As an entrepreneur and businessperson, I've spent the bulk of my career climbing the ladder in technology companies - I've also built two companies and sold one company. Having hired employees and contractors, I have a hands-on understanding of what it takes to recruit and retain top talent.
While attending college, I started a resume business as a younger version of myself. I kept that service going for several decades as a side business. In 2018, I developed the business into a full-time, more robust career service offering. Over the years, I've written 1000s of resumes across most lines of business, industries and job families. I've built an extraordinary team of talent that is passionate and committed to helping you wayfind your next career move.
As a graduate of the Resume Writing Academy, I constantly pursue career service best practices, staying relevant with the latest trends. I hold a B.A. in English with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS). Over the years, I've also earned leadership, business and product certifications. I possess an academic emphasis in IT, having spent some years at Regis University. Let's get to work and get you started on your path.
Having earned my BA in English from Colorado State University-Pueblo, I focus on developing professional writing projects as an independent contractor, with an emphasis on resume creation. My background in public relations and marketing ensures I can help professionals tell their career stories in a compelling and relevant way. I take the time to build a meaningful relationship with my clients, focusing on understanding their career goals, professional life story and desired next steps. As such, I have multiple clients who come back to me to refresh their career documents. Like everyone at Wayfinder, I want you to find success.
Since joining Wayfinder (formerly XPM2 resumes) in 2019 I have written 100s of resumes. I remain committed to serving new and existing clients with the utmost integrity and with knowledge of the latest industry best practices.
I am a career, job and leadership coach with deep experience assisting clients navigating job and career shifts. As a results-oriented professional, I help clients at all stages of their career identify the job they want, plan next steps toward acquiring that job and execute on that plan. I specialize in meeting my clients where they are and helping plan a path to their future.
In addition to coaching, I have experience as a college professor, writer, business and nonprofit executive, consultant and entrepreneur. I work with clients across industries, from aerospace, government and tech to health care and entrepreneurship. My expansive background allows me to pivot easily and help my clients think strategically about next steps.

After earning my BA in English from Colorado State University, I've spent the last decade in writing, marketing, and real estate, while also navigating motherhood. As a member of the Wayfinder team (formerly XPM2 résumés) since 2018, I have loved being able to assist clients from a multitude of professional backgrounds, especially those looking to rejoin the workforce or reinvent themselves professionally. As a working mother of three, I understand the challenges of career transition and reinvention, and I am ready to help you take that next step in your career by customizing and modernizing your resume.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and 20-year career Marine officer, I served in operational and training environments both in infantry units and IT organizations in the U.S. and Japan. While on active duty, I attended evening classes at Strayer University, graduating with a M.S. in Information Technology. I also hold a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Naval Academy.
Following my military service, I served 23 years in software sales, consulting and sales enablement for small and large IT companies, including IBM. At IBM I traveled extensively worldwide helping clients deliver IT innovation solutions, while teaching sales representatives consultative selling techniques. Finally, having recruited and hired my own staff over the years, I understand what recruiters and hiring managers are seeking.
