WAUSAU TAX AND ACCOUNTING - Key Persons
Amber grew up in Merrill, WI and lives there currently with her husband and 3 daughters. She obtained her MBA at Upper Iowa University She started working at WTA in October of 2012. Amber loves to go camping and boating, and to bake & cook with family. Her favorite sports team is the Badgers. She loves that WTA is a family oriented & accommodating workplace.
Chad was born and raised just outside Wausau and has stayed here to grow a family with his wife and three kids. Chad Graduated from UW Stevens Point and shortly after joined Wausau Tax in 2004. He is active in his kids sports, coaching them and helping out the community by taking on the role of treasurer with Wausau Youth Baseball & Softball, Inc. He enjoys hunting and fishing. His family makes one hell of a maple syrup which he blesses his coworkers with throughout the year.
Curt founded WTA in July 1995. He grew up in Wausau and attended UW Eau Claire. He loves the Packers and the Brewers along with attending as many games as he can with wife, Lisa and his sons, Dylan & Tyler and daughter-in-law Morgan. Curt and Lisa enjoy spending time with and spoiling their first grandson Brooks. Curt is thankful for all the wonderful people this business has led him to.
Cynthia lives in Kronenwetter, WI with her husband and two cats. She graduated from UW-Stevens Point and started working at WTA in 2019. Cynthia loves short day trips around Wisconsin, polka music, and playing board/card games. Her favorite part of working at WTA are the people.
Dave joined Curt at WTA in October 1996. He attended school at UW Eau Claire and currently resides in Mosinee. Dave loves to be outside hunting, fishing, golfing, hiking and traveling with his family - wife, Dana and 4 kids, Gabriella, Spencer, Sophia & Greta. David enjoys meeting and catching up with clients throughout the year. A favorite office memory is the Beer Summits with Attorney Jon Schuster.
Dean was born & raised in Wausau. He furthered his education at NCTC and Mount Senaro College. Dean has worked at WTA since 2016. When not at work you can find him shooting pool, fishing for crappies & muskies, at a local race track or doing yard work. He cheers for all WI sports teams. He enjoys the diversity of clients he has been able to work with along with working with Curt & Dave 20+ years later.

Deb has been at WTA seasonally since 2019. She lives in Wausau with her husband. You can find Deb golfing, crafting, and cheering on all the WI teams when not helping out at WTA. She enjoys meeting all the clients each year and learning something new.

Dylan was born and raised in Wausau. He followed his dad, Curt's, footsteps attending school at UW-Eau Claire and now working at WTA. He has been a member of the team since 2011. He enjoys (no, really) working with his dad and brother, Tyler. When not working you can find him running, reading or traveling. Dylan also enjoyed the Beer Summits after close.
Logan has been with WTA since 2020. He lives in Mosinee and got his degree from UW- Stevens Point. Logan enjoys slow-pitch softball, golf and basketball. He cheers for the trifecta of WI sports (Brewers, Bucks & Packers). He loves how friendly the environment is to work in.
Lori has been on the team since 2003. She lives in Mosinee with her husband and goldendoodle. She keeps busy with watching her granddaughter's sporting events and baking. Lori is a familiar face that greets you year after year come tax season - that's her favorite part!
Patti has been with WTA since 2019. She grew up in Stevens Point and graduated from UW -Stevens Point. Currently she lives in Weston with her husband and two children. She enjoys baking, scrapbooking, reading and spending time with her family. She loves the work-life balance WTA has to offer.
Shelly grew up in Antigo and currently lives in Rothschild with her husband Gregg and their two children, Nathan and Rayna. She has been with WTA since 2019. She left the area to get her degree at University of Minnesota but remained a loyal Packer fan. Shelly is a creative person enjoying drawing, painting and playing piano. She also enjoys traveling to watch her son play baseball. She describes WTA as professional, fun and an awesome work environment.
Tyler grew up in the Wausau area and moved back following graduation. He has officially been part of the WTA team for seven years and has six years of tax preparation experience. He attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where he double majored in Accounting and Finance. He now enjoys being active in the community by coaching football at John Muir and being the current President of the Wausau Breakfast Optimist Club. Other than giving back to the community he enjoys spending the majority of his time with his wife and son, going to Packer games and staying active with sports.
