Barbara founded Partners in Design 18 years ago after returning from living in South-East Asia for 14 years. With a passion for delivering creative and inspiring interiors to her diverse clients, Barbara works alongside her team to achieve successful projects from concept to completion. When not designing, Barbara enjoys theatre, live music and entertaining friends and family.
Diane joined Partners in Design after graduating from Arts University Bournemouth with a BA (Hons) Degree in Interior Architecture & Design. As one of our core Design Team members, Diane thrives on seeing all elements of a project come together and watching concept designs become reality. Inspired by quality craftsmanship and the endless possibilities of materials and finishes, Diane loves that no two projects are the same. Outside of work, Diane enjoys being active and attending gym classes, socialising with friends and spending quality time with family.
Laura is one of our FF&E Designers here at Partners in Design. With a love for bringing the outdoors in, Laura enjoys incorporating Biophilic elements into her designs alongside organic textures. Surrounding scenery with its unique colours is Laura's biggest source of inspiration. When not in the office, Laura can be found cold water swimming or travelling to tick off the many locations on her bucket list.
With over 9 years' experience, Sarah heads up our Design Team, specialising in interior architectural design and space planning. She also enjoys designing bespoke furniture as well as creating colour and soft furnishing schemes for clients. Sarah understands the importance working hand-in-hand with clients to deliver beautifully designed spaces. When not being creative, Sarah loves nothing more than a beach walk with her dog, festivals and indulging in her inner foodie!
With over 20 years' experience in window dressing, Suzy leads our FF&E Department and possesses a wealth of knowledge in fabrics, wallpaper and furniture. Suzy is in her element when working with fabrics and colours and thrives on encouraging clients to make bold and beautiful decisions. In her spare time, Suzy can be found renovating her characterful, period home and spending time with her family & friends.
