Matthew J. Bradley graduated with an Honours B.A. from Queen's University in political science and economics in 1985. He obtained a Civil Law Degree from Laval University in 1991 and a Common Law Degree from the University of Ottawa in 1992. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1994. Matthew articled at Gowlings in Ottawa before joining his father Henry J. Bradley, Q.C. in 1994 in general practice in Pembroke. In September 2003, upon Henry's decision to retire, he merged with the law firm of Huckabone O'Brien. As a partner in the Huckabone office he purchased Robert B. Howe's law practice in July, 2018. Under Robert's leadership, he has now amalgamated, effective January 1, 2021 the law firms of Huckabone O'Brien Instance Bradley and Howe & Bradley under the one firm Bradley Law Professional Corporation. Matthew is a member of the Law Society of Ontario. He is the former Treasurer and President of the Renfrew County Law Association of which he remains a member. He has been a guest lecturer at the County of Carleton Law Association Litigation and Solicitors' conferences and many educational programs for financial institutions, real estate offices, investment firms and the military. Presently, he is a guest lecturer for a program for young entrepreneurs sponsored by Enterprise Renfrew County. He has served on many charitable boards, including being a member of the business advisory board for the Pembroke campus of Algonquin College for many years. He has been the founding Chair of the Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation since its' inception in 2007. He works tirelessly to fulfill the foundation's mandate: "to meet the community's greatest needs at any time." Matt is presently a member of the County of Renfrew Covid-19 Economic TaskForce.
