COVIDPREDICT

Since the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the virus has had an enormous impact on Dutch healthcare, particularly on Intensive Care Units (ICUs) during the peaks of the pandemic. In order to better understand the risk factors and treatment outcomes in patients admitted to the hospital with COVID-19, the CovidPredict consortium was started. By collecting and analyzing data from COVID-19 patients admitted to the ward and the ICU, we aim to better understand the disease and to help determine the best treatment options... The collaboration was set up by doctors and researchers from Amsterdam UMC and Maastricht UMC+. The consortium has since expanded to include many doctors, data scientists and researchers.
