The First Aid at Work (FAW) is the highest and most widely recognised first aid qualification. It is suitable for where risk assessments identify the need for highly trained first aiders due to the size of the organisation or workplace, nature of the business or the groups of individuals considered... The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification is ideal for those working in lower hazard environment (e.g. shops, offices), with smaller teams (i.e. less than 50 people) where HSE guidelines specify staff should be EFAW qualified or where they are supporting colleagues who hold a full First Aid at Work qualification... This Level 1 course is suitable for everyone within the workplace, providing them with knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions, as well as skills to start a conversation to be able to signpost a person towards professional help.
