DONNA

Donna has been a volunteer for much of her life, as a youth in the local hospital & in her early twenties as a tutor at the Don Jail where she realized just how important an education and literacy skills were in life. She has strong working relationships with both Free the Children & the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre, which she uses to the advantage of Halton DSB students. In her community she has organized many successful events including raising $100,000 for a young boy with Lesch Nyhan Syndrome . She volunteers her time to the Milton Ribfest in exchange for financial donations to the Halton Learning Foundation. She has twice been nominated for Business Person of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce in recognition of her community involvement, and she has also been nominated for an Athena Award...
