HC Lewis Butchers has been serving Kineton and the surrounding villages from the same premises for well over a century. You will find us where we have always been, at the heart of the busy village in our traditional butcher's shop... The shop was founded in 1889 by the Lewis family before being passed to Harry Cheadle Lewis who gave his name to the shop. This was a time before supermarkets and there were several butcher's in the village. Eventually though, HC Lewis was the only one to remain and many people will remember Harry's son Tom, who made the shop a focal point of the village for many years. Having worked with Tom from his apprenticeship, the running of the shop passed to John Rose. John is assisted by experienced butcher Colin and apprentice Tommy...
