MEET THE NEED FOUNDATION - Key Persons
Born in Toronto, Ontario Canada to Jamaican immigrant parents, Natalie Ellis is the eldest of her siblings. Through the hardships of life, she stood with her mother to help care for others at a young age. These times taught her what it meant to be "our brothers' keepers". She helped her mother establish and gain community support to start food banks and breakfast clubs. Caring for the needs of others became a part of the fabric of her core being. Since then, she has continued to seek for ways to provide resources and help to those who need it most.
Her heart for others inspired her to apply all of her knowledge in order to help in any way possible, especially when she came to learn of the lack of resources and supplies in the underserved communities of her native island. This ignited her inspiration to form the "Meet the Need Foundation". Please join in the foundation's efforts to support our brothers and sisters in the Island of Jamaica as well as the local community of the Kensington section in Philadelphia PA.
