Michael Demkiw was raised in a typical, middle-class family in New York before moving to South Florida where he had the benefit of watching his family run several successful businesses. Though these businesses thrived, they still had their fair share of challenges that unnecessarily impacted the household finances.
As a result, much of what drives Michael's approach to helping clients get ahead came from absorbing his own family's mistakes when it came to money and business management.
Witnessing the ups and downs, booms and busts, successes, and occasional stumbles was the masterclass he needed to inspire him to do things differently. He recognized that if his family could fall victim to the "drift," anyone could. But he also realized that you could plan and prepare to achieve better long-term results.
Having spent over 30 years in the financial services industry, Michael's helped many families navigate some of their most important economic challenges. Notably, Michael has achieved numerous awards for service and performance over the years in both banking and insurance.
Michael has dedicated his life to helping his clients make better decisions and avoid the common mistakes that could prevent them from achieving their goals and truly thriving.
Michael's strong sense of family and community allows him to stay grounded and maintain a balanced life. A resident of Bergen County, New Jersey, he enjoys spending time with family, playing with his dog, working out, and volunteering when not helping clients.
