Aaron works with rural churches and faith coalitions to strengthen food ministries and local food economies. Drawing on his own experience with local churches, he focuses on helping our faith partners discover new strategies to achieve their goals, build partnerships, and embrace opportunities to help their churches and communities thrive.
Aaron joined Resourceful Communities as Faith and Food Coordinator in 2021. Before that he worked as a United Methodist pastor in rural and urban settings. He holds an MDIV from Duke University Divinity School and a BA in American Studies-Southern Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In his free time Aaron enjoys playing folk instruments, cooking, and writing.

Abhinav Choudhury is an Environmental Research Engineer at the Freshwater Institute. He is responsible for research on investigation of strategies for improving the environmental impact and economic viability of intensive land-based aquaculture production, providing waste management and waste conversion expertise for external projects, and assisting industry partners with problems related to waste management and waste conversion. He is experienced in waste-to-energy technologies, specifically in the area of anaerobic digestion, and life cycle impact assessment for evaluating the environmental impacts of these technologies. He has a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from University of Maryland, College Park, a Master's degree in Environment and Sustainable Technology from The University of Manchester, UK, and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India. He joined the Freshwater Institute in January 2020.

Since joining the Fund in 2011, Ainsley has worked with our donors from across the country whose annual financial gifts make our work possible. She oversees our Annual Fund, including the management and execution of our annual fundraising campaign. With this support, we are able to work with our partners to strategize the best conservation opportunities available in America's communities.
Additionally, Ainsley manages our Cornerstone Society, our sustainer giving club for donors who have invested long-term in our conservation efforts, and leads our Planned Giving program, working with major donors on planned gifts, including bequests and charitable gift annuities. When she's not at work, Ainsley loves being outside with her husband, young daughter and two dogs, and spending time behind her pottery wheel.
Ainsley is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and holds a BS in Public Policy & Administration and Nonprofit Management from James Madison University.

Ali Huber-Disla is the Healthy Economies Coordinator at Resourceful Communities. She provides technical assistance, networking opportunities, and capacity building to organizations in Western North Carolina with a focus on economic development. Before joining Resourceful Communities, Ali worked as a 4-H Agent in Eastern North Carolina in Camden County with NC Cooperative Extension. She is passionate about the environment, community development, food systems, and youth development as seen in her previous work at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS), and the Equity Research Action Coalition.
Ali grew up in Durham, North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor's degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Public Policy and Environmental Studies and a Master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Public Policy with a focus in community development and local food policy.

Amelia has worked with the Fund since 2007. She works directly with the Deputy General Counsel, legal team members, field staff and outside partners on conservation real estate and mitigation projects. She also provides legal support for grant programs and restoration projects.
Prior to joining The Conservation Fund, Amelia interned with Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center. She received a B.S. in Anthropology with a concentration in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University, and a J.D. from University of Baltimore School of Law. Amelia volunteers with the Junior League of Annapolis and is a member of the Maryland Bar Association.

Andrea serves as the Manager for the Conservation Loan program. She is responsible for streamlining the loan application process by interfacing with conservation organizations, working with borrowers to complete their application materials, and managing The Fund's portfolio of active loans.
Previously, she worked with the Conservation Finance Network's effort to accelerate land and resource conservation by expanding the use of innovative funding and financing strategies. Before joining The Fund, Andrea worked in Development at the worldwide office of The Nature Conservancy. In this role, she worked with Principal Gift level fundraisers to manage donor-driven events and provided grant administration support.
Andrea holds an M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Andrew is part of the team working to secure a 200,000-acre conservation easement that promotes longleaf pine restoration in southern Alabama and the panhandle of Florida.
With The Conservation Fund since 2003, Andrew has worked to protect thousands of acres of vital habitat, including parks and greenspace throughout the Metro Atlanta area and throughout Georgia and Alabama.
Before his time at The Conservation Fund, Andrew was with the National Wildlife Federation as the Southeastern Center Director managing the field office in Atlanta. He also spent time at The Nature Conservancy where he completed real estate transactions to protect biodiversity and assisted with the establishment of the botanical inventory at Ft. Stewart in Georgia. Other past affiliations include, The North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission as a District Wildlife Biologist and The Department of Defense as a Biological Technician working on endangered species management at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Andrew has an M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University and a B.S. in Zoology (Wildlife Science) from North Carolina State University.
