The Association for Women Journalists Chicago is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization, supporting women in journalism and promoting the respectful treatment of women by the news media. We are working journalists, academics, and students from national, local, and regional news outlets, as well as all major journalism schools in the area. We are inclusive of people of all genders involved in every aspect of the media industry and across all mediums... Chicago Women's Journalism Hall of Fame, presented by Association for Women Journalists Chicago is an online museum and monument, whose purpose is to honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to further women's recognition in Chicago journalism.
