ELLEN HOIL

Ellen Hoil has been a proud resident of Riverhead for over 20 years after moving from her childhood home in Smithtown. With family close by in Jamesport and other parts of Suffolk County, Ellen has establsihed herself as a dedicated community member committed to ensuring that Riverhead continues to be a great place to live. Ellen attended ungraduate and graduate school on Long Island and holds a masters of law degree (J.D.) from Touro College. She has a solid foundation in interpreting laws, budgeting, financial matters and overseeing staff. She currently works as in-house counsel for small businesses...a position she has held for over 15 years. This experience includes acting as head of finance and marketing where she oversees budgeting, cash flow, marketing, as well as her legal work on contracts, regulatory compliance, and labor law.
