HERO K1DS

We do research to prevent type 1 diabetes. We do this by testing new-born babies for an increased risk of developing type 1 diabetes. We also offer studies that aim to detect type 1 diabetes when the disease is at a very early stage, before symptoms appear. All the children in our studies are heroes to us because, without them, our research would not be possible... We want to raise awareness of type 1 diabetes with our campaign because type 1 diabetes can affect any child. That's why type 1 diabetes concerns everyone.
