KELVINSIDE ACADEMICAL CLUB

The Kelvinside Academical Curling Club is the Curling section of the larger Kelvinside Academical Club - an association of former pupils of Kelvinside Academy. Initially open only to former pupils of the School, K.A.C.C. is now open to all prospective members... The club was founded in 1968 as a club for former pupils of Kelvinside Academy. In 2014, the club opened up membership to also include curlers from outside of the Kelvinside Academical Club by invitation from the committee. Since then, the club has gone from strength to strength and is both a competitively successful and socially active club... As a member of Dunbartonshire (1oth) Province, we play in the Allan Cup, the Allan Medal, the David Duncan and other competitions.
