Performed detailed analysis of the WMATA bridge within the Zone of Influence (ZOI) of the tunnel based on the as-built plans of the structure. Evaluated the existing condition of the structure by applying permanent and transient loads required by the WMATA design manual. Train live load, impact load, derailment force, and load combinations were per WMATA specific requirements. Applied the impact of tunnel construction activities by imposing support settlements obtained from geo-mechanical modeling. Provided recommendations based on the comparison of the results with and without support settlements. Prepared comprehensive report to present Analysis results and findings.
