Here at UCLA, we are currently working with the rural village of Vadamanapakkam, which is located in Tamil Nadu, India. The UCLA chapter works on improving the quality of life in our village by creating initiatives in education, women's empowerment, environmental sustainability, and clinic & pharmacy... Project RISHI at UCLA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the sustainable development and growth of rural Indian communities. We identify issues central to our target communities and provide the resources necessary to implement solutions through extensive field research and on-campus initiatives... Project RISHI (Rural India Social and Health Improvement) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the sustainable development and growth of rural Indian communities.
