Dr. Ashley Walsh grew up in Rhode Island, where her immediate family still resides. She was drawn to dentistry as a child, with her interest in art and mechanics. After completing a Bachelor's of Science in Biology at the University of Rhode Island, Dr. Walsh moved to Charlotte, NC, where she worked as a business team member for a dental office. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Dentistry and graduated with her DDS in 2015. Dr. Walsh started her career in private practice, before moving to a community health center in Manitowoc, where she served as Associate Dental Director. Walsh Dental Group was formed at the end of 2018, where Dr. Walsh has had the privilege of expanding services available, and providing exceptional comprehensive care to the residents of the Shawano area. She has been able to fulfill her desire to serve by helping patients through daily practice and the many volunteer opportunities dentistry provides. Dr. Walsh is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Shawano County Dental Society, and American Academy of Women in Dentistry. She has been a CDOCs Mentor since June 2022, helping to teach other doctors CEREC technology. In her free time Dr. Walsh enjoys reading, exercising on her Peloton, and spending time with her dog, Baxter. A couple times a year she is able to travel back to Rhode Island to visit family and enjoy fresh seafood!
