He is an Investment Banker and an Electrical Engineer by profession. He overlooks the strategic investment decisions in the group.
He has more than a decade of experience in Project Finance and was Head of Project Finance in Private Sector Infrastructure Dev. Company Limited (PSIDC), a company established under the auspices of the World Bank, before taking up the current position in VS Group. He holds an Engineering Degree from University of Moratuwa.

He is now at the helm of VS Group operations. He pioneered the private sector owned hydropower projects in Sri Lanka.
Coupled with extensive experienced and technical expertise in the field, he successfully ventured into projects outside Sri Lanka to Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and many other countries.
A visionary leader and under his guidance first ever Turbine manufacturing plant has been successfully established in the Sri Lanka. He is a Graduate of University of Colombo.

He is an Automation Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the hydropower industry, renowned for his expertise in hydro power automation, control systems, power systems, engineering management, and project management.
He holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, equipping him with strong operational and strategic insights. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Renewable Energy from the University of Aberdeen, where he expanded his knowledge of various renewable energy sources and their applications.
His commitment to innovation and efficiency drives the company's mission to deliver sustainable solutions in the renewable energy sector.
