Nishan Mahanama

He is an Investment Banker and an Electrical Engineer by profession. He overlooks the strategic investment decisions in the group. He has more than a decade of experience in Project Finance and was Head of Project Finance in Private Sector Infrastructure Dev. Company Limited (PSIDC), a company established under the auspices of the World Bank, before taking up the current position in VS Group. He holds an Engineering Degree from University of Moratuwa.

Prabodha Sumanasekara - Chairman

He is now at the helm of VS Group operations. He pioneered the private sector owned hydropower projects in Sri Lanka. Coupled with extensive experienced and technical expertise in the field, he successfully ventured into projects outside Sri Lanka to Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and many other countries. A visionary leader and under his guidance first ever Turbine manufacturing plant has been successfully established in the Sri Lanka. He is a Graduate of University of Colombo.

Thushara Goonathilake - CEO

He is an experienced automation Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the hydro power industry. He is Experienced in Hydro power Automation, Control systems, Power systems, Engineering Management and Project Management for more than 15 years.
