At The Old Rectory Nursery is to introduce your child to the early Montessori practical life and sensorial equipment in a homely and happy atmosphere. We work with a small ratio of teacher to children, which allows the children to have a gentle and kind introduction to the Montessori Method of Teaching... We have created a room with some early Montessori exercises alongside conventional play equipment designed for this age group and a place where the children are free to learn to play, to discover and grow. The children are cared for by qualified, loving, calm members of staff with experience of small children... During the sessions, we introduce the children to early sensorial material, alongside lots of fun play and art activities, building their co-ordination.
