Adam leads the digital services team for Westcotts and provides clients with first-class specialist expertise and strategic advice on all the firm's cloud accounting and digital services, as well as audit.
Working closely with large corporate clients and smaller owner-managed businesses is Adam's forte. He is well-known and well-respected in Plymouth's business community and has clients in the charity and not for profit, manufacturing and education sectors.
As an experienced charity trustee and chair of audit, he understands the concerns from a client's perspective and takes a pragmatic approach, "I form a genuine partnership, which means clients receive more time and proactive advice from someone who shows they really care."
Adam is a keen golfer, swimmer, and hiker and is kept busy by his young family. If he's not on the golf course, weekends are spent at dance and gymnastics classes with his daughters.

For the last 20 years Alison has worked with directors and business owners advising on start-ups, expansion plans and exit strategies. She has extensive experience of acting on both sides of the deal.
Alison is married with 2 grown up children and enjoys swimming, cycling and watching rugby in her spare time. Her next challenge is to try her hand at sailing.

Educated at Wellington School (Somerset) after four years working in agriculture, Andrew started his financial services career in December of 1984 at the age of 20. In 1991, after 7 years working in Bristol for Barclays Bank, he set up his own financial planning business, Andrew Brown Associates, an IFA firm, which was acquired by Albert Goodman LLP in October 2003. He joined Westcotts as a Partner in November 2016.
Now based at the firm's offices in Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea and Bridgwater, Andrew works with professional introducers and clients, across Somerset and Devon, as well as in Bristol, South Wales and London.
Outside of work Andrew is a former President and Chairman of Weston-Super-Mare Round Table, he enjoys Motorsport, commercial property development and country pursuits.

Having worked for over 20 years in the financial services sector, chartered financial planner and company director Andrew has demonstrable experience and is a highly skilled business adviser.
Based in Exeter, Andrew is also a partner of Westcotts and works as part of the wider management team across our offices in Plymouth and Weston-super-Mare. With an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (APFS), he is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
Andrew, who lives near Totnes, has first-class expertise in financial planning and works with several SMEs and high net worth individuals looking after their long-term financial planning requirements.
As a father of two young children, much of Andrew's time outside of work is spent on the water enjoying paddleboarding and dinghy sailing, as well as spending time on the South Devon coast with his family.

Dealing with increasingly complex tax rules and advising clients on how to minimise their tax liabilities is something Ann has been doing for over 30 years.
With experience and tenacity in spades, Ann helps individuals and non-corporate businesses with issues such as income, capital gains and inheritance taxes and has a particular interest in advising families.
"Every client and their family set-up is different," she says. "My aim is to understand the family dynamic so I can provide a tailored service that meets the needs of the parties involved and come to a suitable agreement for everyone."
Ann loves walking in the Lake District with her husband and dog Yogi. She was also a judge at the archery event for the London 2012 Olympic Games and has been very active in the sport for many years. That's why she's right ‘on target' when it comes to offering trustworthy, friendly, and efficient advice.

Becky has over 20 years experience in the accountancy profession advising family business, companies and individuals on a broad range of VAT matters.
Becky's particular specialisms include land and property, company reconstructions, the charities and not for profit sector and financial services.
Together with VAT, Becky also specialises in Stamp Duty Land Tax working closely with property lawyers and individuals throughout the South West on complex partnerships, SDLT reliefs and mixed use transactions.
Becky is a member of the ATT VAT Sub Group, the VAT Practitioners Group and the Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group.
Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her partner and two teenage sons. On home games she can be found on the East Terrance cheering on the Exeter Chiefs!

Cat prides herself on being a good listener and likes to get things done. Having received a diploma in charity accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in recognition of her experience in this sector, Cat is proud of the client relationships she has built over several years.
In her role of Head of Charities and Not for Profit, Cat advises all sizes of charitable organisations, as well as corporate businesses, sole traders, and partnerships on everything from compliance to accounting standards and audit. With over 15 years' experience, Cat is always happy to help others and has a strong desire to provide the highest levels of service.
Living in North Devon, you will often find Cat walking the outstanding coastline and countryside and when she's not exploring her local haunts, she loves taking foreign city breaks and counts Greece as her favourite holiday destination!

A former season ticket holder at Rochdale AFC, Chris now supports his favourite football team from afar from his home in Devon.

"We treat each client individually and adjust our services to meet their requirements," says David, who has over 15 years' experience in auditing. He joined Westcotts in 2005 after graduating from the University of Newcastle and now helps trainees at the firm to achieve their ACCA and ACA qualifications.
David has worked with businesses of all sizes from sole traders and partnerships to large, limited companies across the South West and further afield, "I would much rather visit a client at home or at their business. I love it when a client shows me their latest bit of machinery, equipment, or product with pride."
A keen Liverpool FC and Somerset Cricket Club fan, David is more of a follower than a player these days, although he does like to play tennis for his local club. David also enjoys spending time with his young family. As if this didn't keep him busy enough, he is also chair of governors at his local primary school.

David, who once spoke with the Queen, describes himself as ‘empathetic, knowledgeable, passionate and personable' and his vast experience brings the best of what he's learnt to his style with clients.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter, as well as coaching his children's football and cricket teams. He loves nothing more than playing football, golf, and cricket and even makes time for some travel and photography.

Denise has worked in general practice and provided expertise in all areas of accountancy and taxation for the last 35 years.
She looks after a wide range of businesses and individuals, including companies, partnerships and sole traders. Reliable, trustworthy, approachable and focused, Denise is the accountant of choice for many of our clients.
Despite running a smallholding outside of work, Denise is adept at prioritising the needs of her clients. With a flock of Greyface Dartmoor and Devon and Cornwall Longwool sheep, as well as pigs and a flock of chickens, Denise is well-placed when it comes to helping clients in the agricultural sector.
As if that wasn't enough, she's also an avid runner and is part of a local Crediton ladies' running group.

Kerry manages both Corporate and Personal Insolvency cases for Westcotts. Kerry started her career at a national practice in 2010 and has significant experience in all restructuring and insolvency matters, achieving both the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) and the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) qualifications.
Kerry has lived in the West Country her entire life and enjoys walking in her local area. Whilst at home she enjoys baking, reading, gaming and cross-stitching.
