Adderstone Group's Operations Director, Allison Harrison, is the company's second longest serving member of staff, having joined the team in 2003 after being head-hunted from a rival firm. As Group Operations Director, Allison manages all operational functions and HR issues including staffing levels, site teams, pensions, insurance and recruitment to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Debbie has worked in social housing for over 30 years and has a great deal of experience in the regeneration and development field. She has worked for local authorities and housing associations as well as the private sector and has delivered on all tenures including social rent, build to rent, older peoples housing affordable housing, and set up a wholly owned housing vehicle for Stoke on Trent city council. Debbie's focus is all things new business and partnerships in areas outside of the North East and is looking to open up new offices in Yorkshire and beyond over the next business plan period.

Eve is Managing Director of Exchange Residential, Adderstone Group's dedicated student and young professional lettings agency. Ian was brought up in Chopwell Woods surrounded by a community of mining villages in the North East, and attended Hookergate Comprehensive School. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography, a PhD in Political Geography from Durham University and is a published academic author. Whilst an undergraduate, Ian wrote his dissertation on student accommodation, which doubled up as a business plan enabling him to borrow £13,000 from Northern Rock to fund his first development. After graduation, Ian served a short commission as a Royal Naval officer with deployments in the Mediterranean and Hong Kong (1997). Upon leaving the Royal Navy, Ian worked as a trainee surveyor with Sanderson Townend and Gilbert (now Sanderson Wetherall) before committing full time to growing Adderstone. Adderstone Group is now widely respected as having made a significant contribution to economic development and regeneration across a range of sectors and locations in the North East of England. The Group has developed or held over 2,000,000 sqft of commercial floorspace and is responsible for housing more than 1% of the population in Newcastle's urban core.* Ian's career has seen him found or co-found more than 50 start-ups, including North East construction giant Brims and create in excess of £1.1bn in economic output and thousands of jobs across the North East. Ian's early accomplishments resulted in him being named North East Entrepreneur of the Year by his peers in 2007. He has held Visiting Fellowships at both Durham University (2012 - 2015) and Northumbria University (2015- 2018) and was appointed Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in 2019. Ian's successful track record and unique experience across a range of sectors (academia, sport, military, property and business) has seen him become a major asset to the Boards of OpenWorks Engineering Limited - a security-technology business based in the North East whose counter drone technology has been used to defend three successive US presidents, and Turbo Power Systems Limited, specialists in power electronic solutions and global smart-grid power management systems, where he supported a management buyout and delisting from the Canadian stock market in 2017. In 2007, Ian set up the Adderstone Foundation, the charitable arm of Adderstone Group which has supported a number of community, sport, education and health causes, contributing more than £803,000 in donations and support so far.* The foundation is delivering food, water and medical supplies to war-affected regions of Ukraine, and has supported initiatives that reform prisons to help ex-offenders find employment. In 2022, Ian was appointed as the inaugural chair of the Employment Advisory Boards (EABs) for HMP's Northumberland, Durham and Lower Newton. Ian has represented Team GB at tennis and is a successful veteran of the UK Ironman. In 2023, Ian was appointed by Durham University Business School as a Professor in Practice. On accepting the role, Ian's stated aim was to help inspire pupils from the region to choose Durham University and students already at Durham University to stay on in the region and build great careers, businesses and lives.

Kate Grant joined Adderstone Group in July 2021 as Director of its growing Estates division. Kate has overall responsibility for the management of Adderstone Group's growing commercial property portfolio, which comprises almost 2 million sq, ft of assets and over 140 business clients. Kate joined Adderstone Group from intu Properties Plc, where she spent over 23 years in various senior management roles based in their London office. As Regional Managing Director, Kate was accountable for the management of seven major UK shopping centres with an annual rent roll of over £160m. These assets included Metrocentre, Eldon Square, Lakeside and Braehead. In addition, Kate has extensive board level experience, including several JV relationships and as Chair of Metrocentre Partnership Board.

Michael Shipley

Michael is Adderstone Group's Chief Financial Officer having joined the business in May 2014. Michael is a graduate of Durham University, obtaining a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematics. He joined Adderstone Group to head up finance for the Group's Development Division before becoming Group Chief Financial Officer in September 2018. Michael provides leadership for the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy, optimising the company's financial performance and strategic position. He is responsible for the appraisal and evaluation of all development and investment opportunities, liaising with funding partners, monitoring costs and performing budgetary and treasury control. He is also responsible for preparing management information and exec reporting to key investors and joint venture partners, as well as the production of Group consolidated financial information. Prior to joining Adderstone Group Michael was in corporate finance, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2011, where he worked closely with business owners and management teams on a wide range of transactions and advisory services including management buy outs, obtaining finance, restructuring and strategic planning.

Peter Galbraith is Director of Adderstone Living, the social housing division of Adderstone Group which was launched in March 2020. Peter has amassed over 30 years' experience in the construction industry, heading up construction schemes across all sectors including social housing, private development, education and commercial. After spending 24 years of his career with Galliford Try, he joined a private developer as Construction Director to deliver private sale properties in the North East and across the central belt of Scotland, before joining Adderstone Living. Peter heads up the operational division of Adderstone Living, delivering schemes to the highest quality and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure delivered projects exceed expectations.

Philippa Gray is Adderstone Group's London-based Director, responsible for growing the Group's presence in the capital. After three years with Adderstone Group's Newcastle development team, Pip Gray left the Group's Newcastle HQ in late 2017 to establish Adderstone Group's first London office. Since opening the office Pip has managed delivery of the Group's first London apartment development, Sultan House, the delivery of four luxury apartments in Bermondsey and is currently overseeing development of the Group's first mixed use acquisition, Plantain Place. Adderstone Group's London office operates within the Group's core sectors of commercial and residential investment and development and Pip is always available to chat to those active in the capital where potential synergies could be explored.

Stephen McCoy is Director of Adderstone Living, the social housing division of Adderstone Group. Stephen has over 25 years' experience in the housing sector, working at director level for blue chip companies including Keepmoat and Galliford Try. Stephen has delivered some of the largest affordable housing and partnership schemes in the North. He has worked with the majority of local and national housing associations and local authorities delivering schemes focussed on extra care and private sale. Stephen's experience enables Adderstone Living to offer unique, ‘land-led' solutions for clients, a process which involves the sourcing of land, scheme design and securing of planning permissions before delivering schemes on behalf of key stakeholders.

Adderstone's Chief Legal Officer, Tim Clark joined the company in 2008 on a three-month fixed term. Many years, and many hundreds of property negotiations later, Tim is Adderstone's Legal Head and an integral part of the Adderstone Board. A former partner at both Keenlyside & Forster and Ward Hadaway law firms, Tim grew up in Hexham, Northumberland, achieved a BA (Hons) in Law from Newcastle Polytechnic before passing Law Society exams and completing his formal training. Tim leads on all Group legal acquisitions and sales projects. During his time at Adderstone Group, he has negotiated disposal deals of almost £100m across the company's property and ground rent portfolios.
