Baldish qualified from Guys, Kings and St. Thomas' Dental School at the University of London in 2008. Following this he went on to gain further experience working in hospital dentistry for a number of years in consultant led departments. Specifically, at King's College Dental Institute, London, in Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Special Care and Sedation, Paediatrics and Restorative Dentistry, and at Bristol in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time Baldish passed his exams to gain Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons, London in 2010 (MJDF) and Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2011 (MFDS).
This gives him a broad range of knowledge and experience to deal with more advanced procedures which he manages in private practice. Specifically, Baldish has a special interest in Endodontics, culminating in his achievement of an MSc in Endodontics with merit (Master's degree in Root Canal treatments) where he attained a distinction in his final dissertation. He accepts referrals for all types of cases in this field in a number of private practices across the Midlands.
As well as being a member of the British Endodontic Society, he is also a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) and has considerable experience in treating anxious and nervous patients priding himself on patients saying he has a gentle touch and calm demeanour.
Baldish is extremely passionate about providing comfortable, high-quality treatment and care to his patients. His focus is on further education and is dedicating his clinical time fully to patient care in the field of Endodontics.
Carlene joined MODUS and instantly became one of the team. She is one of our receptionists and has shown great enthusiasm and passion for patient care and organisation. When Carlene is not at work she enjoys spending time with her children.
Hareg qualified in 2023 and is a key part of the nursing team at Modus. she has a keen interest in General Dentistry and Endontic Treatments.
Judith is our consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon. She is trained in a full range of maxillofacial surgery and has extensive experience in the management of diseases of the face, mouth, jaws, and neck. Within the specialty, she has a particular interest in the management of facial and TMJ pain, oral mucosal disorder, salivary gland disorder, dentoalveolar surgery, including cysts, benign lesions of the jaw, and removal of teeth. In her spare time, she enjoys developing a menagerie including dogs, chickens and a herd of alpacas. She is also devoted to her beautiful garden.
Kelsey joined the MODUS Advanced Dental Clinic in January 2019 and has become a great addition to the team. Kelsey is passionate about giving the best dental care and always puts her patients at ease with her friendly, relaxed manner.
Lesley is our hygienist and has been part of our team since 2003. Lesley considers working alongside the only specialist periodontist in Coventry as a highlight of her career - providing her with a wide variety of challenging and interesting patient cases. As well as performing supportive periodontal treatments and treating gum disease, Lesley is highly experienced in educating patients about the best ways to maintain oral health.
Lilli is the practice manager at MODUS Advanced Dental Clinic. She is responsible for looking after the practices referral base, CQC compliance, customer services, and complaints handling. From the day she started at MODUS Advanced Dental Clinic, she has shown a natural talent for nursing and is extremely keen on developing her skills. Outside of work, Lilli enjoys doing work on her new house and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
Louise is our clinical manager and is responsible for the day to day running of the nursing team. She has worked at MODUS Advanced Dental Clinic and its predecessor since 2005. When she is not in the practice she spends time with her family and goes swimming with her friends.
An award-winning specialist in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, Matt has a keen interest in cutting-edge developments. Matt is the Clinical Director of MODUS as well as a director of practicalperio.org, which provides dental education to the whole dental team. He lectures nationally and internationally on all aspects of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. In 2014, Matt was elected to Fellowship of the International Team for Implantology, a network of 650 elected professionals worldwide who promote implant dentistry by research, education, and development (approximately 60 people in this network are from the UK).
He is a registered implant mentor for the ITI, Straumann and the Association of Dental Implantology. He also works closely with the British Society of Periodontology and was appointed the UK's Ambassador to the European Federation on Periodontology for Europerio 8 in 2015. Matt qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute in 2002 with prizes in Periodontology and Preventive Dentistry. After VT and an SHO post in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he worked for the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia. After his return, he completed his membership of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
He then undertook and completed specialist training in periodontology at King's College, London. He completed his MSc and MClinDent at the University of London, and his Membership in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2016, he was awarded the Fellowship in Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FDS RCSEd).In 2010, Matt was voted the UK's Best Young Dentist at the Dentistry Awards. He is a key opinion leader for Curaprox and Hu Friedy. He has also been awarded a Clinical Fellowship Award from the British Society of Periodontology. Matt has extensive experience in all aspects of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and has a special interest in Regenerative Surgery, Periodontal Plastic Surgery and the treatment of implant complications, including Peri-Implantitis and restorative complications.
Naomi makes up part of the nursing team at Modus. She takes great care of her patients, especially those who are nervous. she can always be found with a smile on her face!
Natalie joined the MODUS Advanced Dental Clinic team in 2015 as part of our reception team. She has always worked with the public and has great experience in organizing. Natalie is particularly good at reassuring nervous patients.Outside work, Natalie has a full family life, watching her son play football and her daughter dance.
Rippon qualified in Dentistry from Guy's, King's, and St Thomas' in London in 2003. She had an interest in surgery and this led to her spending 10 years training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She spent 5 years as a Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in various hospitals in the South East including Royal London Hospital, where she was also an Honorary Clinical lecturer and involved in undergraduate dental training. During this time, she also obtained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 2012 at a London Conference, Rippon was awarded the Associate Fellow's Prize by the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, for the best presentation of a clinical study. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Rippon's interest in jaw surgery led her to specialise in Orthodontics. She undertook higher Specialist training at Birmingham Dental Hospital. As part of her training, she also completed a Masters in Research, looking at the self-esteem and quality of life in patients undergoing jaw surgery. She was awarded a Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and is recognised as a Specialist in Orthodontics with the General Dental Council. After qualifying, she continues to work as a Specialist at Birmingham Dental Hospital, where she deals with an array of complex cases including surgical as part of a multi-disciplinary Consultant led team.
Rippon has a keen interest in Aesthetic Orthodontics treating Adults and Children from mild to complex cases. She uses an array of Aesthetic systems including Invisalign and is experienced in Invisalign Teen. She loves keeping up to date with the constant changes and advancements in Orthodontics including digital systems, designed to make life easier for patients and make that new smile easily accessible.
